Multiparametric Analysis of a Gravity Retaining Wall

چکیده

The design of a gravity retaining wall should be simple to construct, quick build and the best economic solution problem. This can achieved by using advanced optimization methods. Since geotechnical engineers are not always able determine exact soil properties other project data, an optimal also determined for wide range input parameters. Therefore, multiparametric analysis designed was carried out. Optimum designs walls were obtained 567 combinations different Diagrams developed help optimum section wall, based on construction costs. An exhaustive search out within available parameters (project data). ranked according which had most influence cost utilization multiple constraints. important parameter is height retained ground, followed shear angle soil, soil–wall interaction coefficient, slope variable surcharge load. relevant bearing capacity eccentricity condition, while coefficient sliding condition. European countries apply load, material resistance safety factors, model in general form, where approaches unit prices could applied. case study provides improved selecting walls, engineers.
